If you are like us, we love fly fishing, but hate spending $7.95 or more on powdered floatants. We go through a bottle every few outings on the river. We thought it would be great if somebody offered bottles of floatant and refills for a fraction of the cost. We have yet to find them. This is why we are taking it upon ourselves to offer our products to all fellow fly fishermen and women for twice the amount at half the price. Feel free to contact us with your questions and comments.

Tight lines! Darren and Brian

Save your KUMA FLY FISHING Flip-Top bottle and crystals. Replenish with our refill packs and save BIG!

Step 1: Refill your used bottle in a well ventilated area. Although non-toxic, try to avoid breathing in the fine powder.

Tip: A ‘V’ folded index card works great as a funnel.

Step 2: Start fishing! Shake or brush on the floatant as you normally would.

Tip: We like to apply a gel type floatant to our dry flies before the first time we fish it. We then use our powdered floatant to keep them riding high the rest of the day.

Tip: False cast or squeeze out excess water before shaking or brushing on powder.

Step 3: Order more refill powder from Kumaflyfishing.com before you run out!

Tip: remember to save your used crystals and bottles. The crystals in the bottle
do not go bad. Although they do pull moisture out, their main purpose is to
help knock the powder onto your fly as you shake it. In the bottom photo, note the nymph is underwater and encased in a pocket of air (which is the desired effect).

Tip: Refills save you money. For example, why would you shell out $40 for 5 Shimazaki bottles when you can buy 1 KUMA Flip-Top Bottle and 2 Refills for $12! That's right, 1 Refill fills 2 bottles!
